Abstract
Non-static and non-compositional traits will be presented in this thesis as appropriate architectural design provocations. A dynamic form of architecture that would be neither reductive nor stifling can originate in the philosophies of the mid-20th Century Un Art Autre. This non-compositional Une Architecture Autre will thus have an intrinsic flexibility and spatial adaptability not found in geometric formality.
