Abstract
The temperature dependence of the thermal conductivity of polyethylene was also studied. Through the percent crystallinity concept, the thermal conductivity of 100% crystalline polyethylene was calculated from experimental data. It was found to vary linearly with the reciprocal of absolute temperature as predicted by the Einstein and Debye theory for the thermal conductivity of dielectric crystals.
