Abstract
Noise reduction is very important for improving visual quality and also potentially to the success of subsequent image processing. Since motion vector fields relate successive images of a given scene, reliable estimation of motion vector fields is important for image sequence processing. This thesis applies a stochastic model based method to video and motion estimation.
