Abstract
In this thesis, the performance of a luminescent solar concentrator(LSC) was investigated. The LSC output flux was tuned to match the peak spectral response of plasmonically enhanced solar cells. Numerical results predicting the maximum efficiency of the LSC-solar cell system were obtained using Monte-Carlo simulations for ray tracing, where the solar cell spectral response was used.
