Abstract
All three chapters contribute to our understanding of corporate finance – specifically, debt financing and composition as well as bank loans. To the best of my knowledge, this dissertation is the first to examine how credit default swaps affect debt specialization or bank loan renegotiation or how aggregate credit supply influences debt structure.
