Abstract
We have applied a Nearly Free Electron Model (NFEM) combined with a local pseudopotential approximation to the analysis of the high temperature transport properties of single crystal Zinc. Within this framework, we have been able to obtain qualitative agreement with the experimental observations of three anisotropic effects: self electromigration, Hall effect, and diffusion thermoelectric power.
