Abstract
Combining individualized augmented reality technology (Microsoft HoloLens) with shared immersive media spaces (RPI CRAIVE Lab), a uniquely new virtual environment is created. Using spatial audio cues paired with visual data, the synergistic efficiency of information extraction in the new mixed virtual environment is quantified. Results suggest that combining AR and VR has the potential to be extremely efficient.
